Privacy & service limits
HK Tennis Finder is an independent, unofficial availability browser. It is not affiliated with LCSD. Booking, authentication and payment take place on the official SmartPLAY website, under its own terms and privacy policy.
Your information
We do not request or store your SmartPLAY password, payment details or booking history. Saved filter names and choices stay in this browser’s local storage; they are not shared with other visitors. You can remove them through Save / manage or clear this site’s browser data. People using the same browser profile can see those saved filters.
A secure, first-party, HTTP-only cookie identifies this browser for request limits. It expires within 24 hours and changes at Hong Kong midnight. It is not an advertising identifier. The server keeps a bounded, short-lived throttle counter for its anonymous identifier; it does not store raw IP addresses, emails or a visitor’s search history in that counter.
Public browsing does not require sign-in. The owner-only monitor uses ChatGPT sign-in and checks the owner’s email on the server. Other signed-in accounts cannot access the monitor or its status APIs.
Hosting and logs
OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare process requests to deliver and secure this service and may retain network metadata under their own policies. We do not promise anonymous browsing from the hosting providers. Application access logging is disabled on the separate court-data gateway and monitor. The application has no advertising or third-party analytics integration.
Freshness and fair use
Visible pages refresh every 20 seconds and share live responses cached for up to 20 seconds. Manual refresh also uses that shared cache. A selected slot receives a live verification when capacity is available; nothing is reserved. The fallback feed updates every five minutes and is labelled separately. Outages, throttling and booking changes can make results outdated.
Per-browser limits allow 90 requests and six verifications per minute. Shared limits allow 1,200 requests and 12 verifications per minute, 60,000 browsing requests per Hong Kong day, and up to 48 live upstream checks per minute / 40,000 per day. These limits are separate from the owner’s private watch. Responses may be delayed or unavailable when limits are reached; respect the retry time and use SmartPLAY directly. Clearing cookies does not bypass the global limits.
The owner receives at most one operational warning per day when a daily public-browsing budget reaches 80%. This contains no visitor details. These application limits do not guarantee a maximum hosting bill or protection against every denial-of-service attack.
